Job Title: Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Therapist Supervisor

Job Summary:

HopeSparks Family Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Therapist Supervisor to join our team. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will provide mental health assessment and intervention to support children and their families from birth to three years old, while also providing clinical supervision to IECMH therapists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mental health assessment and intervention to support children and their families from birth to three years old
  • Provide clinical supervision to IECMH therapists
  • Coordinate with the referring provider/team to ensure appropriate engagement and/or transition into services
  • Meet productivity and/or agency client expectations
  • Complete all paperwork such as treatment plans, diagnostic information, treatment notes, and other necessary case documentation in a timely manner according to policy
  • Meet weekly 1-1 to provide clinical supervision to assigned IECMH therapists
  • Partner with the IECMH Lead to guide best practice
  • Meet regularly with parents and caregivers
  • Provide developmentally appropriate therapeutic intervention
  • Coordinate closely with the child/family's CDS team, as appropriate

Requirements:

  • Current License with the WA State Department of Health in good standing
  • WA State approved supervisor preferred
  • Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
  • Strong knowledge of child development within a relational context
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Imagination and creativity
  • Must possess a positive attitude and friendly manner with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with parents, caregivers, and professionals
  • Intermediate level of computer skills: application knowledge in Word, Excel, and Google Calendar, Docs, and Mail
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Must have a valid Washington State Driver's License, automobile for on the job use and proof of current automobile insurance
  • Must pass state and national background check
