Position Summary:The Automotive Service Technician plays a crucial role in executing vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Employ diagnostic tools to pinpoint mechanical, electrical, and other vehicle-related issues.
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and various automotive systems as specified in repair orders.
- Work efficiently to diagnose problems and complete repairs within designated timeframes.
- Collaborate with service advisors and the parts department to prioritize and schedule necessary repairs.
- Conduct comprehensive quality inspections to ensure all repairs meet or exceed industry standards, or identify any additional safety or service requirements.
- Promptly address any discrepancies or issues with the Service Advisor (including parts and promised time).
- Accurately document all diagnostic and repair activities.
- Complete repair orders and maintain detailed records of services performed.
- Participate in factory-sponsored training sessions to stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and industry developments.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic or Automotive Service Technician in a dealership or similar automotive repair environment.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of automotive systems, components, and repair procedures.
- Possession of a personal set of tools is required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
- All candidates must demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including background checks, MVR, drug tests, and valid driver license verification.
- 5+ years of experience as a Mechanic or Automotive Service Technician.
- Nissan certification is a plus.
- Experience in rebuilding and replacing engines and transmissions.
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications or manufacturer training is preferred.
Hourly Rate: $55.00 or more, based on experience, certifications, and qualifications.
Additional Benefits:
- Tenure Bonus program available after 6 months of employment, offering bonus pay up to $3.50 per flat rate hour.

- Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM - 6 PM
