Job Title: Behavior Technician
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: East Los Angeles
Compensation: $22-$25/hr
About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team at Hidden Treasures ABA Therapy Services. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in both home and school settings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide in-person behavior intervention services to children with ASD
- Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect, record, and verify data on patient progress
- Write notes and follow plans to ensure effective skill acquisition and behavior reduction
- Participate in large group and small group trainings to enhance skills and knowledge
- Implement interventions to help develop skills such as social skills, daily living skills, communication, and preacademic skills
- Minimum high-school degree or equivalent
- Must pass background check
- TB test required
- Covid Vaccination or test once a week
- CPR Certification (can be facilitated during onboarding)
- Minimum 6 months of ABA experience preferred
- RBT Certification is a plus
