Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Nurse Specialist to join our interdisciplinary team at Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital in Dallas. Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $80,000 and $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as retirement savings options and paid time off.

Job Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities as a Rehabilitation Nurse Specialist will include:

  • Performing patient assessments and identifying individual needs
  • Initiating appropriate nursing interventions and collaborating with the care team to develop personalized treatment plans
  • Providing high-quality patient care and education to promote optimal health outcomes
  • Documenting patient information accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program
  • CPR/BCLS certification, ACLS preferred
  • Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

Our hospital is accredited by The Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality and CARF-accredited for our Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and Stroke Specialty Program.
