We are seeking a skilled Truck Maintenance Technician to join our team at Igel. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of passenger, light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks to identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
- Equipment Maintenance: Repair and maintain equipment and machines related to trucks, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Parts Management: Identify and record parts and/or part numbers needed for repairs and report them to the parts department.
- Diagnostic Tools: Utilize scan tools to retrieve diagnostic trouble codes and perform system tests, calibrations, regens, etc.
- Shop Software: Use shop repair software to assist in diagnosis and repair of vehicles.
- Work Order Management: Create and complete work orders using tablets.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards.
- DOT Inspections: Perform annual DOT inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
- CDL Preference: A CDL is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain CDL within six months of hire is essential.
- Drug Test: Must be able to pass a drug test.
