Job Overview

As a Wireless Systems Hardware Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting customers in the development of advanced wireless technologies. Your expertise will be instrumental in addressing complex technical inquiries related to the integration of MediaTek chipsets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver hardware design assistance to clients working on wireless product innovations.
  • Conduct thorough research and provide comprehensive answers to intricate technical questions regarding MTK chipset integration.
  • Perform detailed reviews of schematics, placements, and PCB designs for customer projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges through hands-on engagement.
  • Assist clients in adopting cutting-edge technology utilizing MediaTek chipsets.
  • Support business teams in new project initiatives and create documentation for customers that highlights MediaTek's Baseband and PMIC product offerings.
Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/MSEE) with up to 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles.
  • Proficient in PCB schematic, placement, and layout evaluations.
  • Experience in mobile platform system architecture and integration.
  • Knowledge of voltage regulation, including LDOs and switch mode power supplies (SMPS).
  • Solid understanding of CMOS-based combinational and sequential circuits.
  • Familiarity with high-speed and low-speed digital interfaces such as PCIe, USB, SPMI, SPI, I2C, UART, SerDes, and GPIO.
  • Experience with timing devices, including crystal resonators and TCXOs, is preferred.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, along with effective teamwork abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
  • Willingness to travel internationally when necessary (up to 10%).
