About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our Medical Surgical Neuro team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our unit.
Responsibilities
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to optimize patient flow and quality of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create a supportive and efficient work environment.
- Support the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
- Assist with staff scheduling and labor management to meet patient care needs.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Registered Nurse with Associate Degree or higher.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or ACLS Instructor certification within one year of employment.
