Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Valve Repair Specialist to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on industrial valves and mechanical control devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial valves and mechanical control devices
  • Conduct pressure calibration and testing on valves and regulators
  • Disassemble and repair mechanical control devices and valves
  • Lubricate wearing surfaces of mechanical parts
  • Calibrate instrumentation and install electric meters and relays
  • Test valves and regulators for leaks and accurate temperature and pressure settings
  • Record maintenance information and meter readings
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of experience in industrial valve repair
  • Knowledge of Westinghouse processes and procedures
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a working knowledge of Westinghouse and client technical manuals and procedures
Work Environment

Workers will use appropriate personal protective equipment and work in a variety of environments, including confined spaces and high-temperature areas.

Physical Demands
  • Medium to heavy physical demands, including standing, walking, climbing, lifting, and carrying
  • Ability to work in adverse environmental conditions
