Job Title: Travel Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a travel assignment in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week, working 12-hour night shifts. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with various conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Michigan.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting.
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and maintain a high level of energy and focus during long shifts.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
