Key Responsibilities:

  • Greets guests upon arrival and escorts them to their table, providing menus and wine lists as needed.
  • Maximizes guest seating and table turns, ensuring a smooth flow of the restaurant.
  • Manages special seating requests consistent with availability.
  • Relays messages to servers or server assistants as appropriate.
  • Answers phone calls, gives directions to the restaurant, and addresses questions from guests.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other team members.
  • Must possess excellent guest relations skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous lead host experience in a high-volume, fine dining restaurant.
  • Ability to stand and walk quickly for periods of up to four hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Benefits:

  • $16.28 hourly + tips.
  • Full-time employees maintaining an average of 25 hours a week have an option to enroll in medical insurance and an HSA account.
  • Employees are enrolled in the company's 401k plan with an annual discretionary match after one year of employment.
  • Sick leave is available for all front-of-house employees and accrued at 1 hour for every 40 hours worked.
