Mill Electrical Superintendent

Job Summary:

The Mill Electrical & Instrumentation Superintendent will be responsible for leading the electrical and instrumentation teams at Robinson Nevada Mining Company's Robinson Copper Mine. This role will oversee the planning, organization, and management of electrical and instrumentation activities, ensuring the reliability and integrity of all electrical systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance, project management, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement electrical and instrumentation strategies to improve safety, efficiency, and productivity.
• Manage and supervise electrical and instrumentation teams, including planning, coordinating, and controlling work activities.
• Collaborate with other site departments and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Prepare and manage electrical and instrumentation budgets, including forecasting and controlling expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10-15 years of electrical maintenance experience in mining and milling environments.
• 5 years of project management experience with electrical maintenance projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with electrical power projects in mining and milling environments.
• Knowledge of radio communication systems.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in JD Edwards, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.

Travel Requirements:

• Travel as necessary, including overnight stays.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise General Supervisors, Supervisors, and other staff in daily operations.
• Provide administrative and technical direction to staff and interpret policies and procedures established by RNMC and regulatory agencies.
• Recommend the selection and hiring of key staff.
• Work with employees to correct deficiencies and implement disciplinary procedures as necessary.

Physical Demands:

• Medium: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
