Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support the communication and language development of students within our school district.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals.
  3. Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
  4. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students' academic and social success.
  5. Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
  6. Maintain accurate documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, progress reports, and billing records.
  7. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other multidisciplinary team meetings.
  8. Stay updated on best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
  1. Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  2. Active Texas state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or eligibility for licensure.
  3. Texas Education Agency (TEA) certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in schools or eligibility for certification.
  4. Experience working in school settings is preferred but not required.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
