Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

Benchmark Human Services is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our Early Intervention Services team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping children with disabilities or delays develop essential skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify children's strengths and needs.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) in collaboration with families and team members.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions and coaching to support children's communication and development.
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to promote a healthy learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state of Connecticut.
  • One year of experience working with children in early intervention settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and needs.
