Role Responsibilities
In the capacity of a GPU Design Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Engaging in micro-architecture specifications and RTL coding.
- Analyzing architectural trade-offs related to performance, area, and power efficiency.
- Collaborating with the verification team to facilitate functional simulations and debugging processes.
- Exhibiting innovative problem-solving skills and adapting to evolving technical challenges.
Essential Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in CPU or GPU architecture.
- A solid foundation in cache systems, on-chip interconnect networks, data compression, or shader processors.
- Proven experience in diagnosing performance-related issues.
- Expertise in designing high-performance, low-power systems.
- Proficiency in Verilog/System Verilog and HDL.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Ruby is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Educational Background
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, accompanied by a minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
Compensation & Benefits
At Apple, we offer a competitive base salary that reflects your skills and experience. The compensation range for this position is between $143,100 and $264,200. In addition to base pay, employees may participate in stock programs and receive various benefits, including comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, discounts on products, and educational reimbursement for career advancement.
