GPU Performance Analysis Engineer

At Apple, we're looking for a skilled GPU Performance Analysis Engineer to join our Silicon Engineering Group. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality, low-power graphics IP that meets our performance and power goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze unit and system-level performance issues
  • Quantify the performance benefit of features and algorithms implemented in HW or SW
  • Conduct studies and contribute solutions to performance challenges related to GPU design
  • Participate in micro-architecture specification and RTL logic design in the GPU team

Requirements:

  • Strong background in computer architecture and memory hierarchy design
  • Experience in characterizing performance, driving comparison studies, and debugging performance issues
  • Experience with Verilog, C, C++, and scripting languages like Python
  • B.S. degree and minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with GPU design
  • Excellent communications skills, motivation, and organization
  • Fast learners and eager to tackle technical challenges using innovation
