Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Engineering Design: Provide engineering design and technical support for capital projects, including conceptual and final plans, estimates, and schedules.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of engineers and designers, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver projects successfully.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project sponsors, customers, and contractors, to ensure project goals and objectives are understood and met.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance project delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Mining Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in engineering and construction, preferably in the aggregate industry.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of engineering design principles, project management methodologies, and construction practices. Proficiency in AutoCAD, AggFlow, and Microsoft Office software.
  • Licensing: Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, with ability to acquire licenses in other provinces or states as required.
