Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Office Clerk Typist I to join our team at the San Diego Unified School District. As an Office Clerk Typist I, you will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry and record-keeping tasks with high accuracy and efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and staff
- Assist with various administrative tasks, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and preparing documents
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals
Requirements:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Typing/keyboarding certificate at a net speed of 25 words per minute
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
