  • Assist with medical procedures and X-rays to support healthcare providers
  • Conduct quality control checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Accurately record patient care documentation to maintain accurate records
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and maintain a secure environment
  • Contribute to a safe and organized clinic environment by maintaining a clean and clutter-free workspace
  • Support emergency management protocols to ensure patient safety

Requirements:

  • Medical Assistant Certificate or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and concepts
  • Excellent venipuncture skills and ability to work with patients of all ages
  • Proficient in data entry and computer skills to maintain accurate records
  • Strong customer service focus and effective communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare providers
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or GED equivalent
  • Certified in AED and CPR
  • At least 5 years of experience as a certified medical assistant
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to perform tasks and duties
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods to maintain focus and productivity
  • Logical reasoning skills to solve problems and make informed decisions
  • Potential exposure to communicable diseases and ability to take necessary precautions
  • Ability to discriminate shades of color to accurately perform tasks
