Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at the University of Miami. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality medical care to a diverse range of patients, including firefighters in a mobile clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to patients in a mobile clinic setting, including performing and interpreting results of occupational medicine testing.
  • Review and interpret laboratory and imaging results independently, formulating treatment plans for common family medicine health conditions.
  • Utilize patient-provider joint goal setting approach, providing treatment options and patient teaching regarding prevention and health promotion.
  • Conduct ongoing follow-up care via telemedicine to patients who establish care via departmental contracts.
  • Collaborate with leadership on review and development of policies, procedures, and educational materials.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree or higher in PA services or Nursing.
  • Florida APRN or PA license.
  • Board certification as APRN from nationally accredited organization.
  • Current Certification in BLS and ACLS.
  • CITI certification within three months of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred 2 years of experience in family medicine or internal medicine.
