About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Surgical Technician to join our team at Providence Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, WA.

The Senior Surgical Technician will be an integral part of our Operating Room team, providing quality surgical patient care and assisting in maintaining a safe and aseptic surgical environment.

As a leader in the department, the Senior Surgical Technician will participate in the precepting of new caregivers, assess and coordinate special needs for specific surgeons, specialties, and procedures, and perform designated unit and advanced clerical functions as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality surgical patient care and assist in maintaining a safe and aseptic surgical environment
  • Participate in the precepting of new caregivers and assess and coordinate special needs for specific surgeons, specialties, and procedures
  • Perform designated unit and advanced clerical functions as needed
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program or equivalent experience
  • Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • 5 years experience as a Surgical Technologist
