Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Systems Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing digital electronics systems for tactical missile systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop digital electronics systems for tactical missile systems
  • Develop and integrate power analysis, electrical system schematic, and grounding scheme
  • Develop power distribution design and integrate power system components
  • Define and analyze systems requirements and develop strategies for integration of new hardware into existing system architecture
  • Develop electrical loads analysis and design of electrical power distribution systems
  • Define and/or modify existing electrical interfaces between subsystems
  • Perform systems integration and test of new electronics
  • Collaborate with systems engineers, software engineers, and hardware engineers in planning design and development of systems to ensure software and hardware performance and compatibility
  • Write test plans and test cases
  • Conduct system-level testing
  • Conduct verification and validation (V&V) testing
Requirements
  • BS degree in an engineering discipline; preferably in an Electrical/Electronic Engineering field
  • 5 to 13+ years of experience in Analog, Power and Digital product design and development
  • Secret Clearance adjudicated within the last 5 years
