Job Title: Digital Electronics Engineer Level 3 or 4

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Electronics Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing digital electronics systems for tactical missile systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop digital electronics systems for tactical missile systems
  • Develop and integrate digital designs and evaluate engineering design concepts
  • Design digital systems with large-scale FPGA and high-speed interfaces
  • Develop power distribution designs and integrate power system components
  • Define and analyze systems requirements and develop strategies for integration of new hardware into existing system architecture
  • Develop electrical loads analysis and design electrical power distribution systems
  • Define and/or modify existing electrical interfaces between subsystems
  • Perform systems integration and testing of new electronics
  • Collaborate with systems engineers, software engineers, and hardware engineers in planning design and development of systems to ensure software and hardware performance and compatibility
  • Write test plans and test cases
  • Conduct system-level testing and verification and validation (V&V) testing
Requirements:
  • BS degree in an engineering discipline, preferably in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • 5-9+ years of experience in Analog, Power, and Digital product design and development
  • Secret Clearance adjudicated within the last 5 years
