Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at South Shore Health's Emerson 4 department. As a part-time evening shift nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care through the use of the nursing process.
  • Administer medications, complete medication reconciliation, and document narcotic withdrawal and administration.
  • Develop, discuss, and communicate a prioritized problem list/plan of care for each patient.
  • Foster a culture of safety through personal ownership and commitment to a safe environment.
  • Assume overall responsibility for own professional development by incorporating evidenced-based practice, research, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize technological solutions to work processes and practices.
  • Work within legal, regulatory, and ethical standards relevant to the position.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Previous Acute Care RN experience preferred.
  • Required Licenses/Certifications: RN - Registered Nurse, Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification, Emergency Response Training Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) Certification.
Work Schedule

12 hours/week, 7pm-11:30pm, rotating weekends, every other holiday.
