We are seeking a skilled Food Delivery Specialist to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering food, supplies, and other products to our units and areas of service using a vehicle.
Key Responsibilities- Pick up requisitioned supplies from our staging area and receive completed production orders from our staging clerks.
- Inventory items to ensure completion of production orders and load orders onto the truck with assistance from our staging clerks in a safe and orderly manner.
- Unload requisitioned materials at delivery sites and follow sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment.
- Ensure hot and cold food items are kept in compliance with company standards and meet all sanitation and safety requirements.
- Collect empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise and be responsible for the general cleanliness of the assigned vehicle.
- Perform routine maintenance on the truck and interact with coworkers to ensure company service standards.
- Provide quality customer service via one-on-one attention to detail and perform other duties as assigned.
- A valid state driver's license and a valid food handler's permit where required.
