Job Responsibilities

As an Intermediate AI Researcher, you will be at the forefront of artificial intelligence research and development.

This role demands a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical expertise in AI, with responsibilities that span developing innovative AI technologies, conducting empirical research, and implementing AI solutions in practical applications.

You will collaborate with leading researchers and industry experts to drive advancements in AI, making significant contributions to the field and influencing future AI applications.

The AI Researcher will:

  1. Conceptualize and execute pioneering AI research projects
  2. Develop state-of-the-art algorithms and computational models
  3. Conduct extensive testing and validation of AI systems
  4. Collaborate with global research teams and industry partners
  5. Publish and present research findings in top-tier journals and conferences
  6. Stay abreast of emerging trends in AI research and technology
  7. Mentor junior researchers and contribute to collaborative learning
  8. Engage with stakeholders to identify research opportunities and directions

Requirements

PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, AI, or a related technical field
10 or more years' experience in data science or AI required
Demonstrable experience in AI research, with publications in renowned journals
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or R
Deep understanding of machine learning, neural networks, and computational statistics
Ability to think critically and creatively to tackle complex challenges
Strong collaboration and communication skills, capable of working effectively in diverse environments
Passion for continuous learning and adapting to new technological advancements
Knowledge of cyber security infrastructure, assessment frameworks and associated AI/ML orders, frameworks and Federal policies would be helpful.
Experience using the Microsoft Office suite, particularly data analytics within Excel and developing briefing material with PowerPoint.
Proven experience in AI, machine learning, and deep learning.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
Experience with AI frameworks and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
DoD Secret Clearance - MUST BE US Citizen to be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred Skills

Experience with natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or robotics.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Knowledge of data engineering and data preprocessing techniques.
