Job Overview

Empyreal Logistics is a leading provider of Cash Logistics services, and we're looking for a talented Transport Lead to join our team. In this role, you'll supervise the daily activities of our drivers, ensuring that our clients' assets are collected and delivered safely and efficiently.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have prior experience in supervising a team of employees, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. You'll be responsible for scheduling employees, determining priorities, assigning work, controlling workflow, and resolving problems. Additionally, you'll need to ensure that vehicle safety inspections are conducted regularly and that all drivers comply with traffic laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily activities of drivers
  • Communicate effectively with team members
  • Manage employee schedules and workflows
  • Ensure vehicle safety inspections and compliance with regulations
  • Coordinate Federal Reserve trips and updates Authorized Transporter Lists
  • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent education desired
  • Prior secure transport/delivery driver experience and 2+ years of supervisory experience required
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Planner preferred
  • Clean driving record required
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to work extended hours, some Saturdays, and holidays
  • Ocassional travel to other Empyreal facilities required

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $25/hour. Our comprehensive benefits package includes vacation, holidays, personal days, sick days, medical plans, dental plans, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, 401K, and more.
