Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Northern Arizona Healthcare Corporation. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures using stationary and mobile radiographic equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain patient history and educate patients/families regarding procedures and/or treatment to be performed as well as risk factors and prevention.
  • Position patients appropriately for the applicable radiographic procedure.
  • Perform radiographic procedures and analysis according to departmental guidelines.
  • Develop and evaluate radiographic results for technical quality, such as density, contrast, definition and distortion.
  • Apply learned methodologies with independent judgment according to established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain infection prevention standards and explain standard procedures and answer patients' questions.
  • Prepare, clean, adjust, inspect and maintain equipment.
  • Produce quality images and prepare/present them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, archiving imaging data as needed or required.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals.
Requirements
  • Associates of Applied Science or other related fields.
  • MRTBE, ARRT certification required upon date of hire or within six months of date of hire.
  • BLS (American Heart Assoc.) certification required.
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card application number required upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year experience in Diagnostic Radiology.
Working Environment

This position works in a variety of environments, including outpatient, pain/palliative care, children's health, orthopedics, portable and inpatient settings.
