Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our Float Pool unit at Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Assist professional nurses with patient care, including personal grooming, bathing, and feeding
  • Transport patients and equipment, and maintain patient rooms and supplies
  • Provide basic patient care, including skin care, oral hygiene, and specimen collection
  • Monitor patient condition and report unusual findings to RNs
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge of patients
  • Transport patients to appointments and ensure timely arrival
Requirements
  • Successful completion of Fairview's OnTrack Nursing Assistant training program or equivalent
  • Current certification on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry
  • Basic Life Support (BLS for Healthcare Providers) certification
