About the Role

Kraton is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Business Analyst to join our Global IT team. As a Principal IT Business Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to identify system requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
  • Deliver business intelligence and analytics strategy leveraging SAP Business Warehouse, Business Objects, and PowerBI.
  • Act as an internal consultant, working with business users and process owners to identify functionality gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Formulate and define the objectives and scope of business systems.
  • Communicate effectively with business partners and other analysts to ensure clear understanding of business issues and activity status.
  • Gather data and analyze business and user needs in consultation with business managers and end users.
  • Build strong partnerships to support business and IT strategic plans, ensuring alignment with Kraton's Global objectives.
  • Makes recommendations on hardware and software procurement to support business goals.
Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience designing, building, and implementing enterprise-level Business Intelligence solutions using SAP BW.
  • Advanced knowledge of data warehouse concepts, data modeling, SQL, ETL/ELT technologies.
  • Experience with BW-related BASIS activities and administrative functions in the BOBJ Central Management Console, as well as knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, Azure DevOps, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Subject-matter expert with broad understanding of the business and deep IT business/management systems knowledge.
  • Strategic thinker with strong influencing, facilitation, communication, and leadership skills to drive change.
Education and Certifications
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field of study from an accredited college/university.
