Job Summary

Stanford University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the Associate Director, Entrepreneurship and Management Programs. This role will play a critical part in shaping the learning journey of entrepreneurs and business leaders across Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and Indonesia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall delivery and continuous improvement of Stanford Seed's flagship program, the Seed Transformation Program (STP). This will involve overseeing the administration and delivery of Seed programs, including course scheduling, faculty coordination, and logistics. The Associate Director will also be responsible for analyzing program monitoring surveys and internal feedback, and making recommendations for improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program operations, with experience in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders. They will also have excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to direct the work of others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the administration and delivery of Seed programs
  • Analyze program monitoring surveys and internal feedback
  • Make recommendations for improvements to the STP program
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to execute the STP program
  • Ensure compliance with GSB policies and rules

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, manage shifting priorities, and handle numerous time-sensitive projects
  • Ability to accomplish goals working through formal and informal channels
  • Demonstrated creativity, problem-solving, critical analysis, initiative, judgment, and decision-making skills

Preferred Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in project management and program operations
  • Proven track record of building and optimizing efficient processes and managing cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
