Delta Construction Partners, Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our electrical contractor team in Raleigh, NC.

Job Summary

The Operations Manager will be responsible for coordinating and running a successful branch, including project kick off meetings, forecasting cash flow and manpower needs, and creating budgets to meet revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and run a successful branch, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Manage and train a team of employees, including hiring, firing, and completing evaluations.
  • Work with Project Managers to develop budgets and cost codes for projects, and assign costs and manpower to foreman level tracking.
  • Pursue business with current and prospective clients and customers, building and maintaining relationships throughout the Greater Austin market.
  • Meet with potential customers to present proposals, and understand bid procedures and bid forms.
  • Acquire all required permits and licenses for projects, and ensure all inspections are handled correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the overall financial management of projects, including profitability and budget.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager overseeing large commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling, production, productivity analysis, change orders, billing, and project planning.
  • Ability to negotiate and discuss engineering issues, and have extensive knowledge of change order pricing.
  • Knowledge of vendor and procurement management for releases.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Field experience.
  • Degree or Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
