Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to support the Defense Health Agency in the National Capital Region. This full-time position requires on-site performance in Silver Spring, MD 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and draft Statements of Work (SOW), Statements of Objectives, Performance Work Statements, and Performance-Based SOWs
  • Collaborate with Contracting Officer Representatives (COR) to ensure effective communication and knowledge of COR functions
  • Monitor and process Procurement Requests to ensure timely completion
  • Contribute to the development of acquisition strategies and plans to drive business growth
  • Assist in preparing Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) to inform financial decisions
  • Support the preparation of Market Research documentation to identify business opportunities
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Administrative Policies to streamline acquisition support
  • Participate in reporting and analysis activities to inform project management and quarterly review
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and minimum of 10 years of experience or 14 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success as a highly organized self-starter with attention to detail and ability to multitask under deadline
  • Demonstrated willingness to undertake new projects and ability to learn new systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to pass a government background check and be a US Citizen
