Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, and promoting healthy lifestyles through education and counseling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide personalized medication therapy management, counseling, and education to patients, ensuring they understand the safe use of their medications and potential interactions.
  • Medication Dispensing: Accurately dispense medications, verify prescriptions, and maintain accurate records, adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  • Health Promotion: Offer health and wellness services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and disease state management, to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent disease.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other pharmacists, to ensure seamless patient care and optimize health outcomes.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy environment, adhering to company standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacist degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Licensure: Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
