Job Summary:

Logistics Integration Solutions (LIS) is seeking an experienced Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician to join our team. As a NOC Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and troubleshoot network-wide performance issues, including high and low-level network monitoring
  • Investigate and resolve production and non-production software, application, and service issues
  • Provide 24x7x365 operational and administrative support for the network and business infrastructure
  • Manage incoming and outgoing support requests related to the network and business infrastructure
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers and teams to drive and coordinate issues to resolution within defined SLAs

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in NOC operations
  • Cisco networking skills
  • SolarWinds monitoring experience
  • ServiceNow or other ticketing system experience
  • Ability to concurrently manage multiple tasks
  • Strong troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cisco CCNA certification
  • CompTIA certification
  • Knowledge of network technologies, connectivity, protocols, and security

Work Environment:

This is a contract position with a 1-3 year duration. The shifts are Sunday – Wednesday 6am-2pm, 12pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am and Wednesday – Saturday 6am-2pm, 12pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am. The work location is in person at the FDA White Oak New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD location.
