Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology department.

Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures and treatments according to radiology practice standards to aid in diagnosis and treatment of disease.
  • Develop and implement procedure/treatment plans utilizing established hospital protocols and guidelines.
  • Complete documentation as required to comply with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Maintain equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure patient and staff safety.
  • Participate in hospital and departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure patient care meets established standards.
  • Collect, collate, process, and analyze medical record information.
  • Make medical record information available to authorized users.
  • Compile and prepare reports as directed.
  • Meet assigned goals.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a formal educational program accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire date.
  • State license as required; ARRT(R); BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
  • Basic computer literacy skills.
