The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance & Operations Supervisor I (Paint) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical and administrative aspects of the paint trade, including construction, installation, renovation, maintenance, and repair of District buildings, structures, systems, and properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all technical and administrative aspects of the paint trade.
- Oversee the daily activities of employees engaged in the assigned building trade.
- Serve as the technical expert for the paint trade.
- Coordinate and manage small projects for the paint trade.
- Perform estimates of time, labor, and materials to be used on shop projects.
- Work with the contracts office to formulate contracts and ensure compliance with District contracting procedures.
- Approve all work requiring permits for the purpose of ensuring compliance with applicable legal codes.
Requirements
- A high school diploma is required.
- An estimated salary range for this position is $50,422-$60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
