Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and treating radiation therapy patients with ionizing radiation in accordance with written directives from Radiation Oncologists. Key responsibilities include:
- Treating patients with ionizing radiation in adherence to all regulatory guidelines.
- Maintaining accurate medical records and treatment schedules.
- Communicating instructions and procedures to patients and their families.
- Recognizing and reporting patient concerns and physical problems to appropriate personnel.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have a graduate degree from an AMA-approved school of therapeutic radiology or international equivalent. ARRT registration or registry eligibility is also required, with a passing score within 90 days of employment. BLS certification is necessary as per policy guidelines.
