Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and safe transportation of patients, specimens, and pharmaceuticals, adhering to departmental goals and response times.
  • Assist hospital personnel with patient movement as needed, demonstrating excellent hospitality and customer service skills.
  • Meet departmental response time and travel time goals, utilizing the Epic Rover Transport System to optimize transportation efficiency.
  • Exemplify excellent communication and teamwork skills, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Perform lifting, walking, pushing, and pulling tasks, demonstrating physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assist with patient transfers, providing support and care to patients in need.
  • Participate in training new employees, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Act as a good steward of hospital equipment, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
Requirements
  • American Heart Association BLS certification required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
