Qualifications:
  1. Education: Completion of an accredited vocational nursing program.
  2. Licensure: Valid Texas State license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, along with a current Texas Driver's License and auto insurance meeting company standards.
  3. Experience: Minimum of one year as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in a clinical environment is required.
  4. Experience in marketing is preferred.
  5. Prior home health experience is advantageous.
Skills: Proficient nursing skills as per accepted standards of practice. Strong interpersonal abilities.

Transportation: Reliable transportation is necessary. Valid and current auto liability insurance that aligns with company policy standards.

Working Conditions:

Work occurs in patients' homes under varying conditions; must provide proof of current CPR and Hepatitis vaccination; potential exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases; flexibility in scheduling is required; local travel may be necessary; some exposure to adverse weather conditions; availability for PRN emergency calls.

Physical Demands:

Requires prolonged standing and walking, with the capacity to lift up to 50 lbs and assist patients. Must operate under some stress to meet deadlines and patient needs, making swift decisions and acquiring resources; must address individualized psychosocial needs of patients/families. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Special Demands: Must exercise discretion, tact, and courtesy when interacting with diverse audiences at various organizational levels while maintaining professionalism with both internal and external stakeholders.
