We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Associate to join our Adult Psychiatric Unit team at UMass Memorial Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and support to adult and geriatric patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Assist with patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge and skills in mental health care.
- High school graduate or equivalent required; certification or equivalent experience preferred.
- 2 years of experience in mental health care or a related field; CADC certification preferred.
- American Heart Association certification for healthcare provider required upon hire or during orientation.
