Senior Vice President, Agricultural and Commercial Lending

As a Senior Vice President, Agricultural and Commercial Lending, you will be responsible for evaluating loan applications and documentation to ensure credit worthiness. You will also be responsible for improving loan applications and documentation by informing applicants of additional requirements and rejecting loans by explaining deficiencies to applicants.
This role involves approving loans by issuing checks or forwarding applications to the loan committee and helping customers by answering their questions. The ideal candidate will have a strong entrepreneurial mindset and be a part of a growing, smaller to mid-sized bank.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate loan applications and documentation to ensure credit worthiness
- Improve loan applications and documentation by informing applicants of additional requirements
- Reject loans by explaining deficiencies to applicants
- Approve loans by issuing checks or forwarding applications to the loan committee
- Help customers by answering their questions
- 5 years of experience as an Agricultural and Commercial Loan Officer
- Leadership aspirations and qualities
- Possess strong credit experience and business development mindset
- Loyal and hard-working with a team-first mentality
- Ability to expand loans, client relationships, and cross-sell bank products
- Familiarity with sales, ag or commercial loan processing, and closing processes
- Ability to multi-task quickly and effectively
- Good communication skills
