Operating Technician

As an Operating Technician at B. Braun Medical Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain complex manufacturing equipment, following standard operating procedures and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Collaborate with manufacturing leaders to establish, implement, and enhance standard work processes, driving continuous improvement and efficiency gains.
Conduct training sessions for operators on standard work and troubleshooting techniques, evaluating the effectiveness of training programs.
Recommend changes to operating procedures to improve quality and efficiency, contributing to the development of a culture of continuous improvement.
Participate in continuous improvement programs, including LPMS, 5S, KATA, and Kaizen events, to drive process excellence and innovation.
Troubleshoot machine/line stoppages, perform repairs, and facilitate the escalation process for additional technical support as required.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities during machine downtime, partnering with operations, mechanics, and engineers as needed.
Monitor production quality, taking action according to standard work/SOP, and complete appropriate documentation, including batch records, log books, PM, and DM, following good documentation practices.
Requirements
High school diploma/G.E.D. required; Associate's or technical degree preferred.
5-8 years of related experience or completion of technical requirements and passing an assessment at an appropriate level.
Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
Regular and predictable on-site attendance.
