Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Alumacraft. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and manufacturing high-quality products, ensuring that they meet our quality and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and manufacture products according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and specifications to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions.
  • Explain assembly procedures and techniques to other workers.
  • Perform visual inspections of finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and recommend solutions.
  • Align, fit, assemble, connect, or install system components using jigs, fixtures, measuring instruments, hand tools, or power tools.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand and work for several hours on a concrete floor and manually move product and materials through regular physical exertion, including but not limited to lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and bending.
  • Must work at a reasonable pace and within our quality and production standards while maintaining accuracy and effectively communicating both verbally and in writing.
  • Production standards may require overtime to meet our customers' needs.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and previous use of basic hand and power tools.
  • Manufacturing or assembly experience.
  • Demonstrated dependability in previous employment.
