Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Solutions Representative to join our team at Cornerstone League. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new sales and cross-sell opportunities for our internal products and services, as well as endorsed partner agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Presents and positions Cornerstone Resources products and services by delivering sales pitches and presentations to senior management and Boards of prospective credit union clients to achieve sales and profitability goals.
  • Serve as the liaison and communication link between Cornerstone and member credit unions providing information related to organizational initiatives, programs, services, activities, and education.
  • Call on prospective credit unions and explain product and service features and functionality, providing a cost benefits analysis, and justifying the competitive advantages of using Cornerstone's solutions.
  • Builds and maintains a professional relationship with assigned credit unions by initiating and sustaining on-going contact, follow-up and value-added service with all credit union clients to identify and develop sales opportunities.
  • Identifies sales leads, collect information from leads and prospective credit unions and move the lead through the sales process to close.
  • Works closely with credit unions to lead them through the buyer's journey and the closing process.
  • Develops relationships and close sales opportunities with existing and new credit unions by leveraging relationships, utilizing face-to-face calls, virtual – phone presentations and other creative approaches.
  • Tracks daily, weekly, monthly and annual performance and sales results within your region.
  • Builds and maintains a strong sales pipeline through consistent follow up and relationship building.
  • Maintains data integrity by updating sales and credit union records in multiple systems.
  • Uses CRM and other tracking tools to follow established business processes, maintain credit union information, and ensure quality of the sales.
  • Follows up on inquiries in a timely manner to ensure resolution satisfies our credit unions and meets all internal expectations.
  • Collaborates with multiple internal teams to ensure effective communication across the enterprise.
  • Collaborates with sales managers from other regions to share best practices and support a cohesive sales and engagement approach.
  • Assists in the development of new products and services by providing feedback from the field to business development and management on new products and services in demand across all market segments.
  • Stays informed of current industry trends and product knowledge.
  • Support the Advocacy Department in their efforts to encourage more awareness and political involvement by credit unions.
  • Represents Cornerstone at chapter meetings, annual meetings, tradeshows, chapter expos, conventions, conferences and business fairs.
Requirements
  • A college degree in business, sales, marketing or related experience or education.
  • Knowledge of credit union basics including procedures/operations. Must have an ability to read and understand basic financial statements and key ratios.
  • Two to five years of similar or related experience including at least two years of direct, outside sales experience. Experience with financial institutions a plus.
  • Professional, well-developed interpersonal, communications (both oral and written skills) Good presentation skills a must.
Working Conditions

Position requires standing to deliver presentations. Work requires occasional lifting when transporting materials from car to hotel or airport. These activities also require occasional bending, reaching, squatting, twisting and kneeling. Typical office working activities such as sitting and using a computer for extended periods of time.

No hazardous or significant unpleasant condition (such as in a typical office). Travel by car and/or by airplane is required up to 30% of the time.
