About the Opportunity

Pacific Seafood is seeking a seasoned Regulatory Affairs Manager to join its Leadership team. As a key member of the organization, this role will play a critical part in driving regulatory compliance and strategy.

Main Responsibilities:

This is a complex role that requires a deep understanding of regulatory compliance, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Regulatory Coordination and Compliance Management
  • Oversee the coordination of all permitting and regulatory functions between various Pacific Seafood departments and divisions.
  • Develop and implement effective regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and company food safety rules and regulations.
  1. Strategic Regulatory Planning and Guidance
  • Contribute to regulatory strategy development, providing expert input and guidance to drive business success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  1. Stakeholder Management and Relationship Building
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including operations teams, quality assurance, and legal departments.
  • Engage with external partners, such as trade associations and regulatory agencies, to promote regulatory awareness and compliance.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or commensurate experience in the aquaculture industry.
  • Minimum five years of related experience and/or training.
  • Proven track record of regulatory compliance and leadership experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum three years' experience managing a team.
Compensation and Benefits

Pacific Seafood offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $120,000 per annum, plus a comprehensive total rewards package that includes:
