About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team at Pine Ridge Physicians Regional. As a Cytotechnologist, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients by examining human body cells to detect evidence of cancer or other diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine human body cells to detect evidence of cancer or other diseases.
  • Categorize slides and record classification and compile listings of patients for follow-up analysis.
  • Report analysis of slides with unusual cell structures to Pathologist.
  • Provide immediate adequacy/evaluations for EBUS/iON and Interventional Radiology adequacies/immediate evaluations of Thyroid FNA's etc.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists as a Cytotechnologist CT (ASCP).
