About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our pediatric team at Northwest Texas Healthcare System. As a Registered Nurse in Pediatrics, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the well-being of our young patients.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for pediatric patients, utilizing the nursing process and clinical skills.
  • Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, promoting a culture of patient-centered care.
  • Assess and manage patient risks, implementing appropriate precautions to ensure a safe environment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain clinical competencies and stay up-to-date with best practices in pediatric nursing.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
  • Current state nursing license or permit to practice nursing in the State of Texas.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • PALS certification within 3 months of hire.
  • Chemotherapy class within 12 months of hire.
