Job Summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit team. As a RN in this role, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit efficiency
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and unit activities
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 3 months of hire
  • Chemotherapy certification within 12 months of hire
