About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at EMCOR Group. As a key member of our facilities services team, you will be responsible for delivering effective, efficient, and timely delivery of our line of services to multiple customers within an assigned geographic territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete thorough Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services on all standard package and split unit HVAC systems.
  • Perform general repairs of steam/hot water boiler systems, diagnose airflow and ducting repairs, and safely diagnose and repair common mechanical, electrical, or system failure issues.
  • Complete preventative maintenance and repairs per work order requirements, perform minor plumbing maintenance, and perform routine painting, carpentry work, etc.
  • Utilize technology, including tablets and smartphones, to access and complete work orders, create and submit Service Reports and Quality Inspection images and reports, and submit timesheets, expense reports, and purchase card logs.
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintain timely and consistent communications with customers and internal support teams, and obtain and complete EFS required safety and compliance training.
Requirements
  • HS diploma or Degree/Certification, or equivalent professional experience in Landscaping, Trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc.), or Specialty Floor Care, preferred.
  • Must possess applicable certifications, licenses, and valid driver's license in good standing, including EPA Universal.
  • 5 years HVAC/General Maintenance experience, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, required; or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, write routine reports and correspondence, and effectively present information in individual and small group situations.
Work Environment

Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration. Required to drive a company vehicle daily.
