As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will work alongside a team of experienced professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include providing ongoing medication management and assessment, performing psychiatric evaluations, and documenting notes in our electronic medical record system.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working alongside Psychiatrist and psychiatric nurse practitioner to treat patients in residential treatment center
  • Providing ongoing medication management and assessment
  • Performing psychiatric evaluations
  • Documenting notes in EMR system
  • Working with social workers to coordinate treatment for therapy
  • Following guidelines and procedures
  • Understanding patient's medical and mental health records and designing treatment protocol appropriately

Requirements include:

  • Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
  • Graduate of accredited Masters Degree of Nursing Program
  • Active or in process New York State PMHNP license
  • We will see new graduates
  • Knowledge of documentation
  • Experience with adolescence a plus
